In my opinion, in relation to Soviet SKS rifles, there are really 3 main categories... "All Original" - All matching parts, no forced electro-penciling, no refurb marks on weapon or stock. Just like in the 50's. A small percentage of the SKS rifles in the US lack import marks. In the years that I've been paying attention I've only seen 3 Russian SKS rifles sans import marks. One of those was a bring back from Vietnam. The others were examples that I think the importer somehow missed applying a mark.
